Look for a special dinner option on Wednesday, Oct 14 in honor of the University’s Strength for Today, Hope for Tomorrow 2020 Virtual Gala.
Crossroads Café will feature a special dinner option: Grilled Marin Sun Farms steak with balsamic glaze, served with roasted Riverdog Farms golden potatoes and steamed broccolini with chile flakes. (Vegans and vegetarians, we’ve got you covered with a grilled marinated portobello mushroom steak.)
Bon Appétit Executive Chef Davin Klippel has prepared this meal in honor of the university’s Strength for Today, Hope for Tomorrow 2020 virtual gala last Saturday. A film crew shot Davin cooking what would have been on the gala’s menu for the gorgeously produced 3-minute video below, and the university shared the recipes for the dish, along with a shopping list and the video.
“While it’s disappointing not to be able to feed the guests of the gala this year, it was an honor to be invited to do so virtually — and we’re hoping the students will enjoy this special meal,” said Davin.
